Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons
Not the best shot, but this reminds me of when I was a fire ecologist and the change in seasons meant we could burn. This is a shot of a prescribed fire in Sugar Pine Point State Park (before the name change). Shot on slide film (remember that?), and transferred to digital format using a slide scanner (remember those?).

hmmm, sure, “maybe not the best shot” however, most of us aren’t allowed to get this close to a prescribed fire, so that’s what makes this photograph stand out. I would love to get a shot like this. Very cool, thanks for posting it.
