March Bland to Grand

March has not been very good as far as unique or thematic subjects presenting themselves to me.

I tend to approach photography with a ‘what will come, will come’ sort of attitude. For Cardinal Guzman’s Monthly Changing Seasons Challenge, in January and February, I got lucky. Some of the things I take pictures of all the time, aligned themselves neatly into themes: skies for January and mud tracks for February.

But in Sonoma County, March was all over the place. We had some rain, some gorgeous sunrises, birds were all aflutter, flowers have popped up all over the countryside, and I even made a visit to our local redwood grove, but no bold, coherent overarching theme to the month. So, here’s a hodge-podge selection of the photos I took in March.

What jumps out at you?

And here’s the changing vineyard shot:

  1. Mine are all hodge-podge too! Nice to see how your vineyard is looking fresher and greener now, though still wet. šŸ™‚ That’s a good idea to use a slideshow on that shot, I may copy you.

  2. I like hodge-podge and March is so full of different things going on, why not! Your vineyard is looking greener, but very wet! It has been a bit like that here in the UK šŸ™‚

    1. Heyjude, thanks for the stopping by and the comment. The vineyard is definitely greening up now. I’ll post a new picture soon. April is turning out the same as March so there may be some more bland to spread around. šŸ™‚
